It was the easiest and fastest I ever done in my 40 years of keeping my cars looking good
And its great on my glass ,wheels and exhaust pipes

Re: A wax product that works incredibly well!!

I've been using the Hammerhead Wax for couple of years now and have no desire to change. It goes on easy and

is a cleaner wax to boot. It wipes right off and your done. The transom is now easy to clean, the soot comes right

off.  I use their soap when I wash the boat hands down the best soap I have ever used. This stuff is loaded with

wax and brings the shine back every time I wash the boat!   Just my experience

Sounds about right. Personally I think that the extra wax/polish might even be overkill if your 1st 2 coats are high

enough quality. Last spring I used a mild restorer wax and polished it with Frenzy, and around august it only needed

the polish again to restore the shine. I'll get some pics up when I'm home. The year before I used 3m all the way,

and the oxidation came back too.

The Frenzy put such a good barrier up that even the bottom didnt discolor like it normally does (or at least it took

a few months longer.) Ohio River water can stain your bottom if your not careful.

Here's what the frenzy wax and polish did for the original paint on my 89. You can see the reflection of the line in

the grey and yellow...cloudy day too!

I am sold on Frenzy. I have a dark colored boat and used to compound 3-4 times per year. Frenzy is incredibly

easy to use. Last year I buffed it once in March, applied Frenzy and rewaxed it 3 times throughout the year. It still

looks as good as last March. the only time i needed to buff again was when somejackball's sandy feet scratched the

bow getting on at a sandbar. This is a 27' boat and i can wax the whole boat in about a half hour.   Here is a before

shot.

Here is an after shot. Remember this boat is a 1996 model.

Here it is last fall before putting it away for the winter.

Well, I bought a buffer. Probably the wrong brand, but it seems to work.

I waxed the bow a couple of days ago with my new Long Haul stuff, with the buffer.

I can say that it is MUCH harder to get off (removed by hand) than Frenzy. Man, I had to work to get it off!!

The Frenzy comes off maybe 10 times easier, but I have not applied it with a machine, yet. I assume that

removing the wax by hand 's the way most do it...

But, the Long Haul did put a nice shine on the bow. It is also slippery. The gel coat shines nicely. I don't think

it's as slippery as with the Frenzy, though. Man, after Frenzy, you'll bust yer butt, tieing the bow line!

I plan on using Frenzy on the rest of the boat, once I pull it to install a steering system. Then I'll see the difference.

The stern is in the sun more than the bow, on the dock. Maybe I'll do a half and half with Frenzy and Long Haul?
Kent

That is pretty amazing... I like the colinites stuff too, but its a pain in the butt if you leave it on to long.

I am a Frenzy wax dude now! Shine is great. I have done the buffer thing as well several times and got the same

result as doing the Frenzy by hand... Plus when you do it by hand, you don't miss anything #1 and #2 it doesn't

splatter everywhere..

I agree with what Ken'swife said. Waxed once then when we take it out of the lake I use the spray frenzy

and we are good to go. The stuff seems to last forever. I have only replaced the spray frenzy once and that

is becuz I wanted one in the boat and one in the garage.

Frenzy

( post 67 of 211)

I bought some of this stuff a month or two ago and finally found some nice weather to use it. It works as well as anything I have ever seen,

and the big plus is that it comes off easier than anything. Very pleased.

This shot actually is after a day of running and salt spay all over the boat. 1990 Skater.

You may laugh when you see how easy it comes off. I've never seen anything like it.

·        Bryan,
It passed my criteria with flying colors. You should try it!!
I think you'll be impressed.
I blows away Meguiars Flagship!

·        Man, that was quick. Just ordered the four pack the end of last week and it got here today. Now all we

need to do is wait for the new boat to finish being built, delivered, settled on etc.

·        Wait till you all see my post (still working on it) on the Frenzy Shark Tower.

I hope to have before/after pics. This stuff is amazing in removing rust stains from metal. I have tried lots

of stain removers, the rust stains laughed at them. Then Rob from Frenzy Wax showed me Shark Tower with

a small tooth brush. Now my Latham steering parts (and other parts)look like new.

This weekend I plan to work on the post with pics so stay tuned. . . . . . . .

·        Used the wash and the wax today. Works great. Wax is very easy on and off, with a great shine.

·        Just tried the wax and i am impressed. Goes on without effort and comes off just as easy.

  • Just ordered mine, I'll give you my thoughts in a couple of weeks

Works GREAT on Bikes Too !!!! Thanks Kim !!! Sorry I missed Rob but i'll buy the beer next time. Dave

(sorry the pic is bad )

Used that wax on my old 88 camaro after I got back up to Pittsburgh. It still beads up and the water will sheet

off of it. This was at least 3 weeks ago now. The only places on the body it no longer beads up is on the hood

and trunk where the paint is breaking down and deteriorating from neglect and sunfade. But I am impressed with

how it cleared up the haziness in the rear plastic window and how the windows still beat the water up and then

just sheets it off while driving the car in the rain. Best part is that I washed the car then waxed it in the direct

sunlight. No problems removing the wax at all. Now I just need to use it on my Baja.... If it ever stops raining!

I spoke with Kim on the telephone. She said you can use this on ANY painted surface. We are going to try some

and i'll let you know. She was a pleasure to talk with on the phone. Dave

Just ordered a bottle... I've been using McGuire's for the last couple years. Hopefully, this will be yet easier to

remove and work better. I'll let you know.

P.S. They were very customer friendly, which is appreciated more and more these days.

Thanks for posting!

well here's a pic of my glossy truck waxed with Frenzy (and I have more tires than that other Geoffrey too)

I just ordered my 4 pack and I can't wait to get the boat out of storage to give it a try!

·        For all that have used Frenzy, have you been applying by hand or rotary buffer? I personally like using the

buffer but if it's that easy by hand.......

·        You may laugh when you see how easy it comes off. I've never seen anything like it.

·        Frenzy, if the weather stays good this weekend, I should have your test done and a response for ya.  If it's

as good as everyone says, I'm sure i will be happy. Thanks.

·         The wax ships VERY promptly...Mine was here on Wednesday and I ordered it last Friday. Can't wait to

get the boat out of storage to give it a try.

·         Well, this Frenzy stuff is GOOD...
I washed and then waxed my Donzi 22ZX with the
Frenzy. It amazes me at how easy it is to wipe off. Nothing

I have ever used has come off that easy. I had a few areas in the aft surface that had started to lightly oxidize

from the sun (the aft part of my boat is in the afternoon sun, when it's on the dock). The Frenzy and just a little

elbow grease made it look like new!! I am impressed.  I almost also slipped off the bow with bare feet, when it

was done!  Also, the orange cleaner is good stuff, too! I diluted it 3:1 with water in a spray bottle, and it removed

all the dock spider poop instantly! Not much else gets this poop off as well. It also cleaned up the engine

compartment nicely! I ordered the 4 pack assortment at first, and just reordered another large bottle of Frenzy,

and some Shark Tower stuff to try out.

Thanks for a great set of products!
Kent

·         Kim, I received my Frenzy this week and I'll give it a try this weekend. I'm a perfectionist and my boat already

shines like the sun, so your product will need to be VERY impressive. I hope it is.....I like that "easy off" part of the

directions.

MardiGrasTexan

Had done the boat yet, but check my truck out!

( post 99 of 211)

Well Kim, I used the Frenzy on my Black Z71 Suburban today. I must say it's the best wax I've ever used. I knew

it would be when the first time I went to rinse the appilcator pad, nothing came out. This stuff has a barrier against

water so I can't wait to get it on my boat. The truck looks great....thanks for a excellent product! See

pics.....the last pic is a picture of my neighbors house taken with the camera pointed at the truck....just like a mirror!

Oh, I spilled a drop or two on the concrete driveway, tried to spray it off with a hose (like you can with other waxes),

and it wouldn't come off.

  • Word of mouth is strong...I bought 2 bottles!

Unfortunately its too cold in Michigan to use...but I did walk on the ice, rolled up the cover and tried it on some purple, teal

Yup this stuff IS incredible.

You should see the response it has gotten on the "other" sp***wake. com site. Everyone loves it!

They also have a product called Shark Tower. I used it on my Latham parts, hatch hinge, and swim ladder that had

some rust that I couldn't get out with anything. Now after using the shark tower, all the stainless on my boat looks

100% brand new. I encourage everyone to give Waxing Frenzy a try. I am confident you'll like it - ALOT!

MardiGrasTexan, nice to see the great results on a black truck, I ordered couple bottles last week and hope to

see the same on mine (then the boat)  Tell the neighbor nice house..

·        Just got my wax and the shark tower this week, haven't used the wax yet, but where I let my boot heel

touch my exhaust pipe on the bike, it left a nasty looking black and brown cooked on thingy. Tried several

items I had in the cupboard, but didn't work, the shark tower took it off with very little elbow grease, neat stuff!!!

·         Yup, got my giant bottle of wax and the Shark Tower yesterday. That big bottle of wax should be enough for

a few boat waxings...Plus, I'm going to let my brother try some on his Shelby Cobra! He is extremely picky. I told

him about this thread, and I hope he takes a look.
I took the Shark Tower (weird name) and buffed up my new/old Mirage Plus 23p by hand. It became dull from

sitting. I bought it back in 2000, and used it for about 30 minutes. It just got dull from sitting in my office. About

5 minutes of a little elbow grease with the blue foam pad and it shines again! It's not as bright as my new 28p Bravo,

but infinitely brighter than it was. I can't imagine whatbuffer might do...I may need to invest in one! Now the Mirage is ready to sell!!  I can't wait to use it on my HP500 tailpipes and valve covers, and the boat's Corsa tips. I am hoping it won't remove the paint on the stainless part of the

valve covers....Anyone tried Shark Tower on HP500 covers? I'll be very careful otherwise...
Good stuff!
Kent

·        Glass Cote peels after a year and u have to use Acetone to remove it all. big pain the A$$

·        Only time will tell how long it lasts. I will say it gives the best shine I have seen yet and is very easy to use.

Shines better than mequires.

·        I just waxed my boat this weekend with Frenzy and it is awsome!!!!!

·        Well, I have had my boat in the water a bunch since I applied Frenzy. So far it lasts longer than any other wax

I have tried. Normally I would feel compelled to apply another coat. No so with the Frenzy.  This is good.

I applied this wax last Sunday took the boat out saturday and washed it later that evening. Seems to still have a

consistent coat. What really amazed me thought was how easy the dried wax buffed off. It was easier to remove

it with a towel than with a buffer...faster too.

Some of you wanted to know what the Frenzy stuff does after a few months....i waxed my Donzi 22ZX by hand with

Frenzy back in late February. Yes, my boat sits on the dock year round. I take it off to clean it up, or to work on

and/or upgrade it.

Note that I only have a snap on cover that covers the cockpit. The rest of the boat is exposed to the

elements, and my dock faces west, which means that the afternoon sun hits the aft end of the boat every day.

So far, all I have done is take a towel, get it wet with lake water, and wipe her down. The front is still a slip and

slide, while I'm wiping that part down. I now lower the lift to put the boat closer to the water, as I don't need to

go sliding off the bow onto the hydrohoist beams...

While this may sound like an ad for
Frenzy, I assure you it is NOT. I have used many products in years past.

NOTE THIS -> I have had TWO people who have known me and my boat well since I have owned it (I have

owned this Donzi since 1999, almost five years now!). One is a neighbor, and the other a worker at Shades

restaurant/bar that I frequent on Lake Travis. They have both asked me if I bought a new boat!! And no, not

because of new power. I don't have the HP500 power in there quite yet...Maybe in a couple of weeks!

I am very happy so far with the
Frenzy wax. The surface seems like I just applied it, and it's been almost 3

months, and the aft part IS in the sun all afternoon...

Good stuff.

·        The BEST part of the Frenzy is that the dock spider poop now just wipes off with a wet towel!!!

At least my dock has spiders from H*ll. They poop little black stuff on everything, seemingly especially on the

boats, and they make webs from hither to yon. I know, I should nuke em, but I like fishies. My understanding is

that you nuke the spiders and just a little of that material in the lake kills fish....Anyway, the poop now just wipes

off with the wet towel!! Very good!!

Oh, and the owl throw up wipes away just as easily. (Owls throw up small wads of stuff full of small bones on

our dock (usually on one of the boats, too.) And no, my wife's ski boat has not been 'Frenzied' yet, so I must

crub the spider poop and owl vomit at this point, from her boat...So, her boat WILL be Frenzied at some point,

when I get my giant bottle back. I have used up the bottle from the 4 pack on everything else around here..

Now the problem is that I have 'loaned' my giant bottle of
Frenzy to my brother to let him 'try' it on his Shelby

Cobra! He won't give it back!! AARRGGHH!!!

That's why Frenzy is Number One!  Great products and great customer service.  No one is perfect and no company

is perfect. We all make mistakes and the judge of a company is how it deals with it's own mistakes. I went though

a lot of testing before I decided to carry the Frenzy Product line and I'm glad I did and so are a lot of Speedwake

members.

thanks kim to taking care of this so quickly. This type of great customer support only reinforces what so many

already know. Frenzy is the kind of company that we love to deal with.  For instance, I must have done a poor job

packing a 32 oz bottle a few weeks ago and it was damaged in shipment. I didn't ask for the bottle back - I just

shipped out another right away. When you're in business, you take care of your customers because when you do,

they'll keep coming back to you.

·         I finally got a chance to put a couple of coat of Waxing Frenzy on the Dominator today and I must say this

stuff is.... AWESOME. By far one of the best waxes I have used.

Waxing Frenzy from Hammerhead Boatworks

  • I

  • OK, I finally broke down and waxed my Spectre last weekend and used the Frenzy stuff. Had used it on my bike

  • and thought it was really easy to

get off, but didn't know how a big area like my boat would do. Put it on with my Sears orbital thingy and hand wiped

it off with the ole lady's favorite bath towell, what a piece of cake. Diane even came out and did all the stuff in the

cockpit area and rear hatches and back by the motors.  Just like everyone else I'll probably never use anything else

again!  bought some last month (used the OSO discount)and tried it on my truck and boat.It is excellent!

  • Which race boat use`s it ?????????
    I use Wax
Frenzy on Rio Rose`s V-71 and I`m very happy with ALL of there Products.
Rob and Kim are Great people to work with and are very helpful.

Mike Merola,  Crew Rio Rose`s v-71

  • I have been using Frenzy on my boat and truck since May. I have found it to shine better than anything

I've ever tried (which is a lot of products). Just about ALL of the HRPA members now use Frenzy and are very

happy with the results. On longevity; I haven't felt the need to re-wax and the soot from the transom still comes

right off when I wash w/o using some type of additional cleaner. EVERYOTHER wax I tried required some other

cleaner to remove transom soot. I don't know about what some of you are experiencing, but Frenzy works and

lasts quite well!

  • I have used this product for about 2 months. I wanted to make sure that I was 100% satisfied on my own

boat and vehicles before I introduced into the TMP shop. My vehicles for my construction co. were all done 2 months

ago and they see alot of abuse, to this day, they still shine better than any other wax products I have tried,

including MaGuires, and Mothers. On my boat, Ive only used the wash and wax and shark tower, I couldnt be more

happier. I waxed my CMI's, they look awesome and are still protected, you can really see and feel the difference.

Great products from great people, and you can buy in bulk, like 55 gallons Jeff

·         The Emperors new clothes? I used it on mine first time last week, had a gray stripe on the bow I could

never get to shine. Frenzy did make it shine but the verdict in not in on longevity. Use what you like

  • We just picked up the product line a few weeks ago. Kim and the crew has been very easy to work with.

  • So far so good!!

    Have a great Holiday everyone...

  • I have not had it on long enough to comment on the above. But the one thing I did notice is that the deck has

a high gloss shine without the super slippery surface. Makes me feel better about people up on the bow tending lines.

The On/Off and cleaning properties of this product is hands down better than anything I've used including Bio-Clean.

Shark Tower works as promised. I had some bad stains on my props from some type of acid product that nothing

else would remove. Do any of these products really last a whole season? I have never seen it, I would rather wax

once every 4 to 6 weeks and have that just waxed look. Frenzy at least made it easier!  My free time is valuable!

  • Revolution Marine offshore racing uses Waxing Frenzy.... we like the ease of use and the shine

My boat has been covered since the first application so no new info there. My truck has been washed 3 times and

been rained on repeatedly driving from Louisiana to Georgia and back. Then across the state and back.Bugs come

off a lot easier.Wax does not bead but sheeting action is there.Still able to read newspaper print in a 6 year old

paint job that has never lived in a garage.I used an orbital buffer to apply the wax on the truck after "cutting in"

the tight areas by hand.My only complaint is shipping cost.USPS option would probably be a little less money. Thanks

  • Kim, "Frenzy"

Could you tell me if it is safe to use on a polyester casting? I have the "One Step Cleaner Wax". I assume it

would, but I just installed a Polyester Sink and would like to put a protective coating on it. The manufacturer of the

sink just says to use an automotive paste wax...

BTW, I used this stuff on my outboards and just so happened to park next to brand new Mercury # 6's on a Skater.

Many people commented about my 2.5 Outboards and how they looked so much better than the 6's the guy just

bought. My Outboards are original paint from 1997.... I love this stuff already.....

Let me know your thoughts on using on the sink....
Thanks!
Shark

  • I always have to use some type of wheel cleaner on my wifes BMW. The stains from brake dust are horrible.

Well I was out of wheel cleaner yesterday so I tryed Waxing Frenzy's super degreaser and it worked better than any

I have tryed yet. I didn't expect to work as well but it worked better and didn't take any scrubbing.

  • Kim is excellent to talk to and pleasant to order from. I used Frenzy wax on 2 cars. Normal good wax shine,

2 weeks later mostly gone (the shine). 2 months now no trace. The Shark Tower metal polish is fantastic and will be

what I use from now on. I also just used the hammerhead soap (I forget the name). It worked excellent, and had

no effect on the wax already on the boat (3M Ultra Performance Marine). It cleaned the oily scum line easily. Be

carefull on the deck, it is extremely slippery!!

  • A wax product that works incredibly well!!

  • A friend and OSO member; SuperHawaii40 has been telling me about a wax that he used to make his 14 year

old boat sparkle. I saw his Super Hawaii in person, and was suprised at the shine. He told me he was using Frenzy

wax. I had never heard of it, nor could I find it at West Marine. Well, It was out of mind, until I saw it in Powerboat

magazine. I ordered a small bottle.

This stuff works great!! I used it on my transom, which is the area I avoid cause it is a pain in the arse to do. I did

everything back there. My K-Planes looked like there was some kind of oxidation on them. I had tried other waxes/

cleaners, but nothing made them really shine. In fact I thought that was the way they were supposed to work.

After using this Frenzy wax, they shine like new paint!! The best part is, this stuff comes off 100% easier than

ANYTHING I used. It is more like dusting the boat instead of wiping wax. I did the side of my 34' boat. It took me no

more than 2 to 3 minutes to wipe off the Frenzy wax.

I highly recommend this to everyone. It works as advertised. I also think most racers on the board are familiar with it.

Looks like Frenzy wax is a sponsor or something of the SBI.

http://hammerheadboatworks.com/waxing_frenzy_.html

Oh, SuperHawaii40 has had problems with his hull bottom turning yellow from sitting over the weekend in the water.

He said this wax has made that problem about 75% less.

  • I used shark tower-excellent cleaner.  Frenzy was Ok. It brought out some faults on my '77 TA (it's pretty

rough paint). I was able to apply it to my wifes black car in direct sunlight, covered the whole car before removing it,

came right off. I'm now waiting to see how long it lasts on the cars. I will be trying the rest of the products when

weather permits.

  • Got my bottle last week waxed my whole 35 cig in less than two hours by hand. Amazing stuff i am hooked.
    Greg KC

  • I can tell you it DEFINATLY will go on easy.... in direct sun no less... I put some on a dark blue area of a boat

in direct sun... let it dry out.. and it still came off REAL easy,

  • Kim,
Consider another Treewax user converted. Order placed and looking forward to and easy waxing.

·        Well, I have had my boat in the water a bunch since I applied Frenzy. So far it lasts longer than any other

wax I have tried. Normally I would feel compelled to apply another coat. No so with the Frenzy.

This is good

I have tried every wax in the world as well. I really was liked the Poorboy's and Ex-p. However, I found the sh*t. http://www.hammerheadboatworks.com/ This stuff is used in the boating world mainly. It is very easy to use and the outcome is increadible.
I had just waxed my '67 Mustang with the Poorboy's and Ex-p a month ago and it has not been outside since. I waxed my 04' Stain Silver a couple weeks ago with the Hammerhead and it is 10 times better. It really gives the Silver a wet look, which is hard to do with this color. I used it on my entire car, windows, black plastic trim, tail and headlights. I would definetly give this a try!!
